Anime.
I don't...
Anime, yeah.
Like, I, I got, I, I caught up on Akane-banashi and I took some notes if we want to talk about Akane Banash.
Yeah, we, we talk...
I just figured we'd talk a little bit about some seasons we're watching, and then we could also talk a little bit about Yawara.
We've been watching that.
Oh, yeah
...
Could wanna talk about that.
Oh, yeah, I watched, uh, I watched Koikiri Cycle.
I don't know if I'll have, like, a ton to say about it because it's, like, it's a murder mystery show, kind of s- not really spoilers.
It's the premise of the show.
Um, but I don't really wanna say a ton about that because it's a murder mystery, and I feel like the more I say, the more I kinda, like, implicitly can spoil, but-
Sure
...
Koikiri Cycle's a, it was a, it was a fun, cute, like, murder mystery, locked room kinda thing.
You know, it's, it's like a, it's fun.
Um, but I did catch up on Akane-banashi today and I, it made me think about something because I think, like, the last time we talked about Akane-banashi on the podcast, we were talking about how it frustrated me how much the show it felt like over-explains certain aspects of the performance, uh, or, or, or certain ideas where I'm just kinda like, I mean, you could've just, like, left that open, and I feel like the audience could've easily, like, come to understand that.
Mm-hmm.
And this latest episode, episode 10, uh, it did something very interesting where it kind of-It feels like it recontextualized a, a lot of that stuff because episode 10 we get, uh, Akane's, like, big, uh, big performance at what is...
It's kind of a tournament arc in a sense.
[laughs] Uh, it's not like a, like a real, like, kind of tournament, but it is, like, a, a competition.
Anime.
I don't...
Anime, yeah.
