Hegseth - Orange Sycophant?

Let's just start.

Pete Hegsa, what an amazing man.

I mean, he's amazing.

Let's just go through some of the articles out there.

And there's some current stuff, but I want to start.

From The Guardian, Pete Hexeth removes all women and some Black service members from Navy promotions lists.

Defense Secretary's latest interposition resulted in all-male, overwhelmingly white picks for promotion or admiralty.

Just so you understand, this guy has a Christian white nationalist tattoo all over his chest and says that's just trolling him.

This is the man who's been, I think, divorced three times, been drunk on the job.

Yeah, fucked up a charity.

But anyway, we don't need black people or women.

We don't need the best.

Remember what I said about meritocracy versus loyalty.

Now, I've had kickback on this.

Some people say that you can be meritocratic and have loyalty.

In the U.S., if you work for the government, your loyalty is to one thing and one thing only.

It's called the Constitution.

You are not loyal to Donald Trump.

You are not loyal to Pete Hegseth.

You are not loyal to Barack Obama.

You are loyal to the Constitution.

Not in this Congress.

And sure enough, not in this the president presidential election, his cabinet.

So I wanted to start with that because.

I've talked about meritocracy before, and Pete Hegseth talks about this.
