continued.Well, I, I want to actually drill down on that a little bit because one of the most, many people believe, outrageous firings was the firing of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General C.Q. Brown, an Air Force general, uh, many, many combat missions.

Uh, he was in office, uh, when you were a, a, a Air Force secretary, and he was actually appointed by Donald Trump, as you say.

And in fact, Donald Trump himself, uh, was very pleased with himself saying that, you know, he was a patriot and a great leader and that he, you know, appointed, uh, this Black Air Force officer general to be the highest ranking military official.

And there's no doubt about his meritocracy, and he's written, uh, not naming Trump or Hegseth or the conditions of his firing, but he has said that he's very concerned that, um, the military is being politicized.

I, I read that piece by General Brown, and I think he understated the situation, quite frankly.

It's being politicized in a very dramatic way.

Uh, there are the purges at the top, you know, 25 roughly senior officers.

I call it unprecedented, and I would also say unnecessary and inappropriate because I think it's an excessive amount of turnover, the senior leadership.

I'll break one person out and say it's OK. That's the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, C.Q. Brown, who he fired pretty quickly upon entry, who had still had a couple of years left in his term.

And that's because that officer uniquely has to be kind of his job is to give personal advice to the president and the secretary of defense.

And if they're not comfortable with the person and they clearly weren't, they should change that person out.

Oh, you, you didn't realize that that's what happens in war? I don't know, dummies.

Maybe you shouldn't have fired Army Chief of Staff Randy George or General Donahue or, uh, CQ Brown Jr., the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, or any of the other top officials in our military and top service members and re-replace them with Hegseth, who couldn't run a small veterans nonprofit.

He was let go or pushed out for mismanagement with all these heinous allegations against him.

I don't know.

Yeah.

What a contrast though, and, and CQ Brown was not great either, right? Um, was he as bad as, as Milley? No, but he had different, different things that were going on with him, different initiatives that he had.

Um-

Dude, CQ, so like, it, it's like, uh, he did the whole Barack Obama thing, right? Like-

They just do what needs to be done so they can make it to the next echelon, the next level, to do the next thing.

They don't, they don't have a lot of strong opinions about shit that they share openly.

Like, we have no idea what CQ Brown actually thinks about anything, as far as I can tell.

It's all fake.

Right.

I mean, and if you purge your top most experienced generals, people like Randy George, and Donahue, and the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, CQ Brown Jr., and I could go through the list, and there's so many top respected people.

You know, it'd be like the basketball team getting rid of their starting lineup, and then the three people on their bench, and then putting the other people in to play against another professional team while we underestimate them.
