I mean, I did watch a couple movies, so I'm gonna actually knock those out first because there's fewer of them.

Like, two weeks ago we were supposed to record Supergirl, and I had to cancel my reservation 'cause I had to go see my dad, uh, who was in the hospital.

Um, but so, like, I wasn't able to go on the day that I'd made my reservation, and then I was, like, trying to figure out, "Okay, well when can I go instead?" And then I got sick, and so I have not made it back to the theater.

Um, but, uh, in terms of movies, I mean, it was, it was Independence Day last weekend, so I had to watch Independence Day and Jaws.

Well, I mean, those were both re-watches too, but I re-watched a couple of things from earlier this year that I really liked, Send Help, uh, and Project Hail Mary, both of which I still really like.

So and then I watched a couple of new to me movies that are old movies in preparation for another podcast that I'm doing.

It was like I, I wanted to like it so much and it just was like, "No, I'm gonna not let you like me," and it was a very weird experience.

Like, I know a lot of people have complained about the accent work, which is really weird, um, and this, like, pseudo mafia movie where it just feels like this is not The Godfather.

And some people are like, "It's trying to be The Godfather and it just doesn't work," and I don't think that's what they're going for.

I think it's actually using the mafia to comment on other things that are happening in the middle of the '80s in America.
