Hey VampCasters! Mark did a thing! He guested on What’s onTonight Podcast with Becky and Mandy and talked about Crystal Lake Season 1 Episode 3. Which can be found on Peacock! If you haven’t…
All righty.
So let's go on into show moments.
Mark, we always just start with talking about the opening scene.
I really liked this because I thought it did a great job of giving us a glimpse into just how close Jason and Grace were and that they really did have this really nice friendship.
And you could tell they probably were the only two people in each other's lives outside of their parents because the way that other kids ostracize them.
And I just, it added so much to Grace's story as well.
And I think little Callum is absolutely adorable in the way he brings baby Jason to life.
And I liked that.
They gave us a little bit more insight into how that survival book that Pam got him is really paying off and explain.
It will go on.
I think to explain how he survived and, out in the woods as long as he has and we get just a glimpse into that shack that's going to be i believe an important place for jason to kind of have a hideaway literally later on and a nice little nod that we learned that jason does not feel pain which is a real thing that a lot of kids deal with.
So whether or not that's just, he was born with it or it has anything to do with what we believe means he's been experimented on.
So what did y'all think about the beginning?
I've noticed the same thing that you did about him not feeling any pain.
And I definitely think that's a side effect of whatever it was that they were doing when they were experimenting on him.
I loved it.
Like, I love the little byplay between him and Grace.
I love that we got more of that and kind of have a better understanding of what they mean to each other.
That cabin is creepy as shit.
Yeah, but man, I would totally have that as a hideout.
Oh, yeah.
If you were a kid, like, man, we loved finding shit like that.
I do it now.
I'm like, give me a place to go that nobody can find me.
I've been begging Eric for years for a mom cave and he won't get it because he knows as soon as he does, I'm going to slap a lock on that son of a bitch.
All righty.
