Victorian Psycho

That one is in my bag as we speak.

Last time we chatted, you recommended Victorian Psycho, which Fred blew us away.

Huge Winifred fans over here.

She's absolutely out of her mind, but we could not get enough of it.

Check out Invasion of the Body Snatchers if you get a chance.

Okay, and the number three book is going to be a 2025 horror novel by Virginia Feito, uh, called Victorian Psycho.

This book takes place in, uh, 19th century England.

It's about a violent governess, and basically she's like a, uh, a, a governess is essentially like a live-in babysitter, like a nanny more or less.

I would almost compare this to like slasher style of kills.

Like it almost felt like reading a slasher movie kind of.

Pretty solid Victorian psycho.

I guess there's a movie.

Yeah, if you're looking for a really easy, fun mystery read, it doesn't get too gory or scary.

It's a book for people who like to go, oh! I also read Victorian Psycho over the weekend and that book slaps as well.

That is a little gorier and grosser, but it's really fun.

So yeah, lots of bookstores.

We read Eileen.

"Victorian Psycho" is considered a thriller.

That was good.

That was fun.

I love that.

I did one when I was I was doing a book review for Victorian Psycho, which read that book, listen to it on audio.

I don't know.

It's four hours long.

Music to Sacrifice Virgins 2.

I think that's going to be the next one.

And then, yeah, Victorian Psycho.

If you guys are wanting a crazy unhinged read that maybe not is maybe not splatterpunk, but goes hard as fuck, Victorian Psycho is a ton of fun.

And I'm like, listen, this one, no, but there are some books that are horror related that I think you would enjoy.

She picks up Victorian Psycho.

Goosebumps.

She's specifically interested in Model Home by Rivers Solomon.

I am coming with something that's more recent, which is just a creepy book that I just finished reading.

What's that book? It's called Victorian Psycho, like American Psycho, but make it Victorian.

Okay.

Go to Birdhouse.

And it was recommended to me by a friend of the podcast, longtime friend of the podcast, Destiny.

And I finally got around to reading it because I was like, well, it's spooky season.

Tis the season.

It also takes place right before Christmas.
