So John, what I wanna start with, and I have a story up on The Athletic today about my 10 most pressing questions ahead of training camp, is a little housekeeping.
So as we know, there were season-ending, season-ending injuries to four of the most important Packers last year, Micah Parsons, Zach Tom, Tucker Kraft, Devonte Wyatt.
Where are your eyes gonna be with regards to those four as we get going in camp? Because to me, three of them could potentially be on the field on Wednesday, while we obviously know the most important one will not be on the field for quite some time.
A- and if I'm gonna pick one, I'm gonna pick Micah Parsons to exclude, because we already know that he's gonna start the season on PUP and probably will not enter a football game till maybe week six.
Uh, Christian Watson last year, I believe, was week eight at Pittsburgh, so who knows? Who knows? But all three of, or all four of them, really, are, are so important to the team, but the three that could be out there practicing, when we talk about Tucker Kraft and being maybe one of the 1A guys for Jordan Love to target this year, man, what he was doing last year, if he can take that into this year, uh, with the departures of Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks, and I know we got three wide receivers we feel good about, but, but who's that security blanket for Jordan Love? It could be Tucker Kraft.
And then the trenches, which I think are very important, very important storyline for this Packers team, especially early on.
Devonte Wyatt's one of those dudes at the defensive line, did not look the same last year when he was not on the football field.
It's your best overall player in Micah Parsons, your best offensive lineman in Zach Tom, your best interior defensive lineman in Devonte Wyatt, and you could argue, without people telling you you're crazy, your most important offensive pass catcher in Tucker Kraft.
When we spoke to him at his youth camp, uh, about a week and a half ago, he said, "You'll find out if I'm practicing during the first practice of camp when we get out there." He wouldn't give anything away.
He has said before he knows Gutey's probably gonna wanna start him on PUP, but Matt LaFleur did not rule out Tucker Kraft playing on Wednesday in practice.
