Commanders' cornerbacks are so bad, Wicks is a candidate for a solid game and maybe even an explosive one.

He is the ultimate cheap DFS play this week.

Last year, I urged you to target anybody going up against the then Lions cornerback, Amik Robertson, and it paid off frequently with deep bombs on Amik Robertson.

He's now a starting cornerback for Washington, and Dontayvion Wicks has a chance to go deep on his booty.

Robertson was Pro Football Focus' cornerback 114 last year.

People were excited 'cause the Packers finally took a first-round receiver, and overall last year was a huge disappointment.

Did not get to that 500-yard mark that we wanna see out of a rookie, but did start to show a little bit in the playoffs, which I think has renewed some of the excitement, and then Dontayvion Wicks is gone.

Romeo Doubs is gone, and now it seems like things are a little bit more open.

I wanna see what is his role on the offense.

I think it's gonna take some time to kind of work through some of the growing pains, find out who the real play makers are, find out the play makers opposite of DeVonta Smith at this point, 'cause again, Mekhi Lemon's nicked up.

They've got Dontayvion Wicks, who's a really dynamic separator, but doesn't always catch the football well.

So who's gonna kind of offset that production? Um, you look at the tight ends.

They don't really have a tight end who's developed into a consistent pass catcher there.

I wonder if the headache that became A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts, and that relationship, could it be addition by subtraction? Who knows? Uh, Lemon, the, the receiver they picked, uh, early on has been injured for much of camp.

Uh, D- Dontayvion Wicks from Green Bay manned up being, uh, you know, a big-time receiver in Philly opposite Devontae Smith, but he's never really been that.
