Eric Stokes

That's one of the better plays of his career.

Eric Stokes had a pick six.

Georgia wore the 1980 throwback jerseys.

A really interesting moment in 2020 of the COVID season.

You know, he got lucky on the interception from Willis, but don't chase it.

At cornerback, Eric Stokes played 100%.

Darian Porter only played 82% because he got injured.

Hezekiah Massis came and played the other 18%, not Jermon McCoy, the rookie who had potential first-round talent.

You insert Hezekiah masses and he goes in there and he plays well, you know, he had a little penalty, you know, we'll, we'll work on that, but you know, I still love that he came in and he did his job.

Taryn Johnson came in, did his job trading Stokes, his first start in a national football league.

And you saw play really well.

I mean, rookie looked like he played beyond his years.

Eric Stokes is probably as consistent as, as they come in terms of how he plays the position.

But I think it was the defensive front and the rotation.

Now that's, Vegas fans are going to get excited because it was kind of like a Vegas Knights hockey rotation, the way that they were rolling guys through in terms of Quidi Pei, Foley Fatikasi, right? Jonah Laulu, Adam Butler, Tonka Hemingway, Max Crosby.

For a mean r- rookie, looked like he played beyond his years.

Eric Stokes is probably as consistent as, as they come in terms of how he plays the position, but I think it was the defensive front and the rotation.

Now, Vegas fans are gonna get excited because it was kind of like a Vegas Knights hockey rotation-

So I thought there were standouts all over the defense.

I thought Eric Stokes had a really good game as well.

We did see Darion Porter go down.

Not sure of the extent he came out.

And then on the other side of the ball, I'm just really excited about this secondary and they're young.

outside of Eric Stokes, but those guys are very, very versatile.

And if you can come up with a pick or two and some pass breakups throughout the season and those critical third down to give your offense the ball back, that's the ingredients of a good football team.

But how many times have we seen someone not make the play? So to see him make the play that was there to be made, again, you're just going out there and doing what you're supposed to do as a player playing your position and doing your job, and Treymon Stukes did a good job of that.

Now, there was a couple moments in the game where, you know, him and Eric Stokes I felt like had, you know, a couple of communication breakdowns, and that's why I asked multiple players in the locker room about communication, especially game one.

But these things are gonna happen, and it's something to clean up.
