The word eclipse comes from the Greek word eclipses.

And of course, eclipses represents or speaks to an eclipse, but there's another definition of that word, which means abandonment.

And it was thought that during an eclipse and eclipse season, the gods had abandoned the earth.

They were angry at us in some way.

However, to the ancient Celtics, they saw eclipses very differently.

They saw eclipses as a time representing reverence, a time of listening to nature, even being associated with fertility, a time when the veils between the worlds were very thin and the wisdom of our ancestors and the wisdom within ourselves, the wisdom of how it is that our whole world is trying to speak to us, well, all of it feels a whole lot more apparent.

in that period between eclipses as we are in now.

Last week on the 12th of August, we had a total solar eclipse.

Now that eclipse actually was one of the more positive eclipses I've seen in a while.

It was speaking in supreme harmony with Saturn not far away from Jupiter.

So there was this overall stabilizing quality, but also a lot of hope, hope that could manifest something better, something real, guided by heart.

And next week, we're going to have a lunar eclipse.

And that lunar eclipse is gonna be different than the solar eclipse energy, and that is because the lunar eclipse is going to square Uranus, in the sign of Pisces, it's gonna be a time when what we really didn't know, all of a sudden we know, and it makes a big difference.

It might even be jarring in some way.

However, we're not there quite yet.

We're moving towards that energy, yes, but right now and with a week like this, There is a little bit of an emotional roller coaster, but when I see a week where there's not that many really big celestial conversations taking place, well, it magnifies the moment that much more.

And this moment and the overall timeframe, the overall theme of this phase is the period between eclipses.

Those veils aren't just between the worlds, they're the veils of our own fears, our own traumas, our own uncertainties.

The veils that we form as ways to protect ourselves from a world that maybe hasn't always been gentle with us when that is what we actually needed.

And so we get to a point like this, a week like this, where we're being invited to at least acknowledge what it is that doesn't seem to be working, or at least where those layers of defenses, well, they just aren't serving us anymore.

There's a real opportunity here to use this time well.

and to decide which is it going to be for us.

Is it going to be that we are going to feel more distant from divine guidance, divine energies, ancestral wisdom? Or is it that we are going to more adamantly listen, more adamantly pay attention to what it is that is stirring within? Because that really is a space that is showing us what our truth is, what our lessons are, what a deeper understanding might be.

And from there, find renewal and something else ready to begin.
