The Something to Say Radio Show – October 10th, 2026

Well, what a crappy game that was on Monday night.

I don't know how else to lead into it.

I don't think we can tiptoe around it.

It was pathetic and it was embarrassing.

Just shameful, really.

Falcons came in and just put a whooping on the Saints, 45-24, on the 20th anniversary of the Dome coming.

I'm going to go through some of these numbers, but obviously it's overwhelming.

Whenever you have the Falcons running the ball, rush the ball for 207 yards and five touchdowns, and really just...

Punched the Saints in the mouth right at the beginning with Bijan Robinson with a 59-yard run for a touchdown.

And the Saints never got up off the floor.

You know, they just let him run wild on him.

Michael Penix was, and again, I don't think he's a very good quarterback, not an NFL quarterback.

He may be an okay backup, but he did exactly what he needed to do, and that's not mess up.

He was 15 to 20 for 223 yards and a touchdown, but he wasn't needed because we couldn't stop the run.

Bijan Robinson with 145 yards.

Brian Robinson, no relation, I don't believe, with 62 yards.

I mean, if you can't, we would love to have somebody run for 62 yards.

We only had 50 yards rushing as a team, you know, and I think that's also part of the problem.

And granted, yes, yeah, we had some guys that were out.

Caden Welles was out.

Carl Granderson was out.

Anthony Jennings was out on defense.

But, you know, and then Christian Miller was a healthy scratch for the game.

I don't understand.

You know, it was, I think there was, I put a lot of it on coaching, and I don't think they were, you know, of course, Kellen Moore said they weren't prepared, and shame on him.
