A man with three prior convictions for DUI in the Las Vegas Valley has been charged with DUI again.

26-year-old Emilio Arquilla appeared in court Tuesday as the judge affirmed bail previously set at $500,000.

Metro Police say a 61-year-old man was pushing a wheelchair along Rancho Drive near Sahara Avenue Thursday night when an Audi drifted to the right and struck him.

The car then sped off and was involved in a second crash at Teddy Drive, according to police.

The victim was taken to UMC with life-threatening injuries.

Records show Arquilla was sentenced to 14 to 48 months in prison for DUI in 2024.

I see on his record vandalism, obstruction, resisting an officer, property damage, battery on an EMT firefighter.

And this was just all from his first DUI in 2013.

2019, two felony counts to commit crime of violence.

Then we got guilty police to battery and he was also charged with disorderly conduct with drug and alcohol.

Well, if you could, then you could excuse DUIs because by definition, you're outside of your mental faculties.

You're mentally impaired.

And if you kill somebody because you're drunk, it's the same exact thing.

Well, one of the conversations we were just having off the air talking about this bus crash, the SUV that reportedly was driven by a female, potentially DUI, potentially a reckless driving situation that T-boned that bus, will be arrested according to the LAPD when she is done being treated at the hospital.

For murder, if that is indeed the case, the reckless driving and the DUI, one of the conversations to have is can she be culpable for the deaths of the people in the helicopter? At least one case that I'm aware of involved a firefighting helicopter responding to a scene of an arson fire that went down.

There was at least one fatality there, and the person who started that fire was held culpable for...
