I-- So I, I wanna, I wanna sort of-- We'll, we'll jump right into it 'cause I, I got so many questions for you, and I wanna, uh, be respectful of your time.

You know, I, I think what I love about NEWSTART, you know, a lot of people have their own sort of pillars of health.

I think NEWSTART is sort of really-- is a really great comprehensive look at how do we live a healthy lifestyle, right? So-

...I would love if you sh- if you could just walk us through all the letters of NEWSTART.

Maybe give us just a sort of quick little summary of them, and then we'll dive into specific ones later on.
So NEWSTART is, is a mnemonic that simply talks about the, the major eight pillars of, of having a good life and living well, uh, living healthy.
N is nutrition, E is exercise, W is water, and then S is sunlight, T is temperance.
Uh, that-- it's an old word basically meaning that we, we don't take in toxins into our body.
So these pillars are important because they have been shown to improve life, li-lifespan, health span, if you wanna call it that, but also the quality of life and also your ability to, to think.
So I became very interested in NEWSTART probably around the pandemic time, and the reason was this: I always had known about NEWSTART.
You know, growing up at Loma Linda, y-you can't not but, uh, know about those types of principles.
To be clear, though, NEWSTART is actually a, a, uh, mnemonic that has been used, invented, and developed at, uh, at, at Weimar University, which is a sister school, if you will, that's in Northern California around the Sacramento area.
But the actual things themselves obviously are not copyrighted or, or things of that nature.
What really interested me in NEWSTART right away was when we had the pandemic and we really didn't have anything that we knew would work for this.
