I remember reading the Oxygen Advantage a while back, and I also heard Patrick on a couple of podcasts.

And the Bolt test became a standard piece of information that I was gathering for new clients.

And I'm sure that's probably only sort of scratching the surface, but it's that other dimension that, you know, we'll check all of the obvious stuff, you know, structural things, movement, all of those things.

pieces that you expect to keep an eye on when people are new you need to know how how they're going to operate in in the gym when you're working with them but understanding how they breathe and what their habits are coming in it's not that often looked at is it i don't think and um and and that work that patrick has put together is phenomenal i'm curious to know a bit more about the the qualification, the certification and the training that he does to help you become a registered practitioner rather than just an enthusiast, which I would probably call myself.

smile to myself about some of this information, some of the athletes who are actually, and even the sporting teams who are under... or oxygen advantage, keep it pretty quiet because, again, it's an advantage.

And if you look at the – Patrick's website on Oxygen Advantage is clearly aimed for the athlete.

He trained under the Butiko technique initially, but he's wanted to really bring a mainstream.

And, you know, even his colours, I should be possibly wearing my Oxygen Advantage T-shirt, but it's black and red and white, and it is very much accessible to all of us.

But there are sometimes reasons that a few of the athletes are like, that's our quiet advantage.

There's nothing to be seen here while they're just standing there very still, but they're actually doing breath holds.
