In this episode, Beck and Scully have too many promotions to discuss. Frankly, it's overwhelming. Players covered: Daniel Jackson, C/OF, COL Ryan Sloan, RHP, SEA Max Clark, OF, DET George Lombard…
He was actually the Golden Spikes winner.
As I previously mentioned, he was the SEC Triple Crown winner last season with 32 bombs.
He hit his average was 379.
He had 87 runs batted in.
That was good for a 168 WRC plus in the SEC.
I'm not sure how specific the WRC plus is.
I would imagine that's NCAA in general, how that was positioned, but his slash line and everything's looking pretty similar after a 13 game start to his low A career.
He's already put three balls out.
He's struck out as much as he's walking and he has a 155 WRC plus.
So, Might just be a hot bat that's staying hot after his collegiate season wrapped up.
But the profile here is a catcher who probably won't stick at catcher, but has the athleticism to play the outfield.
Hit tool concerns, but a really fun, interesting blend of power and speed.
Rockies fans might be thinking I just described Hunter Goodman, maybe minus the speed portion of all of that.
They've been able to get everything you'd think that we used to think was possible out of a Hunter Goodman and maybe saw that in Daniel Jackson.
after his SEC pedigree really shone through in his platform year.

It's Goodman's all the way down.
