Tyler Bremner

Rafael Flores, rookie.

[clears throat][inhales] Tyler Bremner, Mike Mussina-

Ooh

...

So John, why don't you share that information with

us? Yeah, so MLB Pipeline, as you mentioned, just added Hayden Alvarez, but they have Arjun Namala, Tyler Bremner, and Hayden Alvarez.

Baseball America has those three as well.

ESPN is a little bit different with Kylie McDaniel.

Four top prospects in the top 100.

Arjun Namala, Tyler Bremner.

Listen to this, Mike.

Dylan Jordan and Johnny Slowinski.

Uh, and there are some starters here, but as we said, there are a lot of guys who look like they could be relevery too.

Yeah, I'll take Tyler Bremner.

Um, I thought he finished the season pretty well.

Um, and, you know, I just kind of believe in the stuff maybe more than some of the other guys that were in this range.

Just a matter of him seeing more and more innings.

So to recap, and then I want us to get into some of the players who we did pick that we, you know, hey, we were thinking about, but we didn't pick them.

But so Jeff gets Cade Anderson with the Mariners, Seth Fernandez with the Pirates, Tanner Franklin with the Cardinals, Tyson Hardin with the Brewers, Tyler Bremner with the Angels, Carlos Susanna with the Nationals, Sander Santana with the Cardinals, and Jack Siebert with the Nationals are his relievers.

I got River Ryan with the Tigers, Liam Doyle with the Cardinals, Kendry Rojas with the Twins, Christian Zazueta with the Dodgers, and Anthony Einsu with the Orioles as my starters.

I don't know if this is an investment, but it's in Hobby Flipper now.

Tyler Bremner, 2025 Bowman Draft Chrome Refractor.

So getting, um-

Does that mean enough people have put that card in there?

...

but the, the prospecting feature is a different feature that's coming later.

Yeah, I mean, he's the second overall pick in the 2025 MLB draft, but still, like, we should not be talking about Tyler Bremner over Cavan Sullivan.

That is my general point.

Um, and then some young guys on the bench, Juan Flores, Denzer Guzman, and Ronnie Rodriguez, who could also be one of the starters in the outfield as well if he carries on with his, his, uh, performance in the minor leagues.

On the pitching side, um, Urania I have as the, the SP1, and then following him I have Tyler Bremner, Grayson Rodriguez, George Klosner, Ryan Johnson.

So I think that definitely beats out the Rockies starting five by a large margin.

Um, and then i- in the pen, again, some interesting arms here.

I also went with Hayden Alvarez.

I actually just now thought about changing it over to Tyler Bremner because even down the stretch, I felt like he was pitching really well.

He was, yeah.

But for what Hayden Alvarez did this year, I feel like it would be a disservice for me to not at least kind of double down with what you said and agree with you there.

Swiping Arjun Damala from the Blue Jays midseason.

Tyler Bremner helped fuel a minor league baseball Angels championship.

Is that a sign of things to come? Maybe not with year two Kurt Suzuki.

Who the hell knows? But I do want to spotlight the Angels and their prospect group here.

I don't even know their prospects.

But one of their prospects is actually lighting it up, Tyler Bremner.

He was the guy we drafted number two.

He think he pitched the game before, and he actually pitched really, really well.

On today's show, the Angels are taking a quick little trip up to Sacramento for the first of two against the A's while trying to avoid 100 losses.

The Trash Pandas are going for the Southern League Championship, and we'll discuss Tyler Bremner and his start from last night.

But first, let's talk about Denzer Guzman, Mike, and his month of September so far.

Yeah, John had a huge three-run home run at the plate last night.

Yeah, and this is the perfect time for him to figure it out and do those things as well.

Thanks for making Lockdown Angels your first listen of the day.

Coming up, Tyler Bremner got the start for the Trash Pandas in game two against the Biloxi Shuckers, the Brewers AA team.

How'd that go? And what insights can we take away from his start and his battery mates behind the dish? We'll talk about that and much more coming right up.

And Argenis Almala for, for Rocket City, who we talked a lot about earlier, and because he's going to, uh, he's also going to go to, you know, he's going to the fall league.

A- and then sort of, I don't want to say supplementally, you know, Rocket City's got Tyler Bremner, who was the Angels' first-round pick in 2025, now up i- in double A.

And, and Knoxville has, you know, a couple more top 10 guys.

Uh, Kane Kepley's had a, a very good year, uh, the outfielder for, for the, for the Cubs.
