I think it was one of the first of many bills calling for the banning of superintelligence.

I very much look forward to the Republican answer to this bill and others beyond as well.

We must both to prohibit its development domestically and actively prevent its development abroad, because that's the next big question.

Fundamentally, China is currently our adversary and is actively racing towards dangerous AI systems to out-compete us both economically and militarily.

But what's important to understand is that while it is important that we retain American dominance on economic and military uses of AI and other technologies, Superintelligence will not give us any form of military dominance or economic benefits.

If you build a superintelligence, if America builds superintelligence, this won't allow America to be a great country.

Do the Chinese feel the same way about that? I mean I would think that they want to protect themselves too.

As much as they want to accelerate development to be the winners in this race, they don't – they have to see the dangers for themselves as well, right? Yeah.

If China builds superintelligence, it will not allow China to achieve dominance.
