- INTRO - OFFENSE TALK - JORDAN LOVE THE BOMB KING OR AIR JORDAN - WATSON/GOLDEN TOP DUO - TUCKER STILL OUR SWEET BABY BOY - LLOYD NOT AWFUL? - OLINE ALSO NOT AWFUL??? - DEFENSE TALK - WYATT IS BACK…
You know, I was saying it leading into this, and as the week went on, too, I was feeling more and more optimistic about this game.
Like, especially when Kyle Menungai was ruled out, I'm like, well, I think having a mix, Menungai is more of a back that we're not very good at tackling.
And I'm like, it's their backup quarterback.
And like I kept harping on last week, I'm like, well, the offensive line's been better.
And having less penalties, not dropping the ball, and not fumbling shouldn't be that tough to fix.
And they did most of that.
And the team fucking put up 31 points when they should have had, what, 38 points with Trace Mack missing his field goals? Yeah.
It's almost like if you don't just shoot yourself in the foot over and over and over and over and over again, good things happen.
You don't even have to be that good as long as you just don't make the shitty mistakes.
If you're not number one in the league for penalty yards, number one in the league for drops, those types of things.
If you can eliminate those and maybe be middle of the road, let your playmakers play.
Is this the most fun game we've had since? I was thinking of this.
I think it's the most fun.
I mean, the last Bears win with Keyshawn sealing it, that was good, but that was dramatic.
But I think I go back to the Lions game on Thanksgiving is probably the previous most fun game.
That was high scoring.
That was a little close.
And then I'm even like week one of last year might have been.
Yes.
That's what I was going to say.
Week one of last year.
It's, I think, the most recent most fun game, right?
