And we knew there was work to be done with the roster in the Royal City because they are Memorial Cup hosts next season after all.

How about Ryan Rubrek, the latest piece to the championship puzzle for the Guelph Storm, coming over from the Niagara Ice Dogs for Lane Gallagher, Will McFadden, a third, a fourth, and a fifth.

I will just quickly say our apologies to Lane Gallagher because we were singing his praises as perhaps an undervalued asset in Guelph, and now he's on his way to St. Catharines in this trade.

London maybe kind of got cold feet just because if you look at the NHL draft rankings, we'll just call it like it is, Ryan Rubrik's stock has fallen a little, and there's been questions around compete, consistency, some of those factors, but boy, when he's on, he is on, and You move through those age ranks we talk about all the time in the OHL, and as a veteran player in this league right now, I think he is ripe for an explosion.

You look at his size, you look at his skill level, he can take over games when he wants to.

It's interesting that you mentioned the question marks around Ryan Rubrick at times and where his draft stock currently is.

You and I will talk more about the upcoming NHL entry draft and the OHLers we expect to go high in it.

I was a little bit surprised at some of the projections that I saw that have Robrick falling to as far as the third round, for example.

So interesting that he might be a third round guy in the NHL draft this coming weekend.

Two players, one of which we talked about last week, and we really like not taking away from Will McFadden, but we were pretty big lane gallagher fans nothing against those guys but they weren't going to be likely top six players on this storm roster so you're trading a couple of bottom six guys and you don't use a second round pick did george burnett just fleece new ice dogs gm dale degray here
