People have a very hard time understanding the words likely and will are different.

When people think something is going to happen, they just turn it into it is going to happen.

We certainly know it from the world of sports, but some sports fans, they just can't wrap their arms around the fact that there might be an upset or a team that they thought was going to be really terrible turns out to be pretty good, et cetera.

In American political life, some people, this candidate's going to lose, he's going to lose, he's going to lose.

This defeatism, and I might grant you, well, yeah, he probably is going to lose.

So what's the point of voting if he's probably going to lose? Well, you don't know that he's going to lose.

If ever you wanted to prove this point, what were the chances yesterday that Christa Pike would be alive today? I mean, seriously.

Now, I'll grant you, I would have assumed that if somebody was going to be executed, they'd actually be able to kill them.

The fact that they couldn't, for those of you not aware, she's this woman in Tennessee on death row.

Everybody, I think everybody kind of thinks about what would it be like to be condemned to death and go into like the executioner's room.

I mean, think about they give you the last meal and what are your thoughts on your mind? If you ask me which, if of all the ways of executing someone, which way would you rather take? You know, they use the firing squad.

See, I'm thinking the way they do it from my perspective, the lethal injection is the best one because, you know, when they've given me anesthesia at the hospital, you just kind of don't feel anything.

But from the perspective of actually trying to kill the person, evidently this isn't the best way.

You know, we went to lethal injection because the lefties all said everything else is barbaric.
