There's nobody coming out and saying, I'm 100 percent sure I'm 95 percent sure or anything like this in terms of where the actual numbers are going to land.
And we'll be talking to Daniel Nichanian about areas where we've seen Republicans, particularly in House seats, just close up shop so that they can expend their resources essentially deeper into their own territory.
As far as the Senate races, Cook Political Reports says moved two of the seats towards the Democrats.
We could see a massive Democratic win or a major Democratic win in terms of numbers.
But the Senate is really the biggest prize, obviously, because you've got two Supreme Court justices who probably want to retire.
And then the question becomes, how much of a margin will Democrats get or could get in the Senate? And that's a big deal because then you're starting to look to the 2028 presidential term where Democrats could have a very solid majority in the Senate.
And there's been a lot of pressure for getting rid of the filibuster or the very least filibuster reform.
I would submit to you that regardless of how the Democrats do in the Senate, it is unlikely Chuck Schumer will be the Senate majority leader in twenty twenty nine.
But I suggest to you that the next Senate majority leader will have had to be somewhat explicit about filibusters before that point.
Winning the Senate provides a lot of opportunities for progressives and people who want actually our government to do materially beneficial things for people.
I know earlier this month you attended a fundraiser for Abdul Al-Sayed.
