So this morning we are, um, let's see, what chapter is this? And it's chapter 15 in the study guide.
If you have the study guide, the prayer of agony and, um, Normally, I don't read the stories at the beginning, but this was one of those convicting ones that I read it at the beginning of the study and thought this would be good to mention.
So Susan mentions at the beginning of the study guide about an account that was told regarding John Wesley, and he was visiting a woman who was ill in bed.
Now, this woman, at this point, she had buried seven of her family members in six months.
And it's recorded that John Wesley asked her, don't you fret at any of these things? And the woman answered with a loving smile on her pale cheeks.

I read that and it was very convicting because I don't know about you, but I am not able to say that I praise God at every moment and that I am at the spiritual maturity to look at things in life and suffering and trials and difficulties and to say, I'm not going to fret over any of these things.
Even though I am aware that scripture tells me I can't add an hour of worry to my day, I'm to cast my cares on the Lord because he cares for me.
It doesn't mean, hey, Mildred, doesn't mean that we're going to get everything we ask for.
It does mean, though, that he is with us and that he will give us his grace and his mercy in the process.
