The Land Show Episode 562

Hey, everybody.

Good morning.

Welcome to The Land Show.

I'm your friend, Jonathan Gould.

I'm coming to you from the Farm and Forest Brokers office here in Centerville, Alabama, and I'm with my good friend and our show producer, Skipper.

Skipper, how are you this Saturday morning, brother?

Matt, I'm just doing fantastic.

Got a lot of rain this past week.

It really came down.

We had some storms in our area, but no damage that we've seen.

So that's some good news right there.

Man, I tell you what, that liquid stuff coming from the sky was a blessing to see.

We've had a dearth of that lately.

There hadn't been a whole lot of it.

And I was texting with a former friend of mine the other day, and he said, yeah, we're going to miss work tomorrow.

It's too wet to work.

And I was like, that's a blessing to be able to say.

It

was so dry around here.

I saw a family with all their belongings on an old Ford pickup headed to California.

Yeah.

Just like the dust bowl days.

But now we just, we got really dry around here and water in the grass every day, all that kind of stuff.

And don't mind doing it, but there's just nothing like that liquid sunshine, man.

When it comes down, it just does the plant so much better.
