I did a show in Panama City.

It was pretty good.

Well, like Sherry.

I told you, when we grew up, he didn't want to go to Panama City.

He didn't want to go nowhere.

He wanted to sit in the yard and blow up army men with firecrackers.

Nothing I ever experienced was more fun than that as a kid.

You're right.

That was more fun than Panama City.

That was more fun than Disney World.

It was truly the sunset and cocktails kind of environment that really grabbed us.

After we went home, we got back on the boat and cruised over to Panama City.

And that's where we met our first looper friends.

At that point, we really hadn't been on the actual loop very long.

And we really hadn't met anybody.

But we came cruising into Panama City and there were what became two of our best looper friends, Lisa and Jim Cummings, standing there ready to catch our lines, ready to welcome us.

It was actually Christmas Eve.

And I mean, immediately we connected with them.

The Marlins finished their season 19-9 after capturing their first district championship in over 10 years.

making it and then making an impressive run to the region final regional final congratulations to all the arnold marlins players the coaches and the fans on an outstanding season representing panama city beach and bay county i do want to shout out to real quick to our two bay county golfers that are hedged headed to the regional tournaments next week we've talked about kade denicky from the mosley boys golf team who chipped in as you guys know to make it to the uh the regional tournament but yesterday in the girls district championships Bay's Kentley Horgan, who was the county champion, has also qualified to head on to the regional tournament.

Again, she is just a freshman and only been playing golf for literally three years.

So good luck next week, Cade and Kentley.

Panama City, Florida was like market 240.

Right.

So it was small enough that you could do an afternoon show and not be the greatest at it.

Remember, you have up in in Jacksonville, you have the Florida, you have the Navy, you have down in Miami, you have the United States Southern Command Office headquarters in Miami.

And then you've been also to the Air Force bases out in Fort Walton and also in Panama City in Florida.

And then the Navy has a training center for the pilots out in Pensacola.

So there's a lot that Florida does for the military.

This one, yeah, this is a very sad one.

So we're going to go to Panama City Beach, somewhere that many of our listeners, probably all of our listeners, honestly, are very, very familiar with.

And this was a story... from Sunday the story just came out today but the event happened on Sunday unfortunately where a Florida father his name was William Romberg he passed away after drowning in the ocean while he was trying to save a seagull from his fishing line so Mr. Romberg he was a beach hospitality manager who worked in the panhandle and he was hanging out in one of those one of the fine beaches there in Panama City And unfortunately he had been setting up some fishing lines like many people do out on the beach.

And he noticed that while he was out there hanging out on the beach, that a seagull had flew by and got stuck in his fishing line.

want that on his conscience.

Correct, and it cost him his life, and now there's two little girls that are going to have to grow up without a dad.

So that's really, really sad stuff coming out of, Panama city beach.

That is truly the worst thing that I've seen.
