The Kits Are Alright - A Football Shirt Podcast
Oct 4, 2026 · 1 hr 17 min · 10 segments
We've ranked the home shirts, it's only fair we rank the away shirts. As before, both Mike and Adam rank their shirts in order. Best shirt gets 20 points, 2nd gets 19 points, 3rd gets 18 points and so…
What would you like to talk about, Mike? And is it the 114 charges that Man City are facing or are we glossing over that because we don't want to lose listenership or
viewership? You know, I think the Man City thing is a really, really important thing within football and it's going to be a bit of a historic case one way or another.
Before I say what I think, Adam, what do you think should happen? Now we know they are guilty as charged.
There is no grey area.
Anyone listening, please don't get pissy with us.
It is, you're guilty.
It's guilty as charged.
114 of 115 charges.
So, Adam...
What would you do? And don't say like, send them to the moon.
Okay, so it is tricky because obviously there is an inherent bias because I'm a Liverpool fan.
So I would like to send them to the moon.
However, I genuinely think this isn't just like being a Liverpool fan, chuck them out of everything.
But there has to be sanctions and I can't see anything other than a huge points deduction.
Now, how that works with the AFL, that opens a whole can of worms where they go.
But it has to be huge because everything they've done... has created the success they've had.
So even though they're even talking about, like, it's a period of time, everything after that period of time is because of what's happened with this stuff.
And I think it has to be big.
And actually...
I've seen Man City fans saying that.
That's not just like me being a Liverpool fan doing the classic, well, I don't like that team, kick them out kind of thing.
I don't think they should be kicked out of football altogether.
No, no, we're fighting this.
Actually, what they were doing, they were just prolonging it.
