So we are interviewing Sarah Hurwitz.

Many people might know about her from writing the books as a Jew and here all along.

Just a fun personal story.

When As a Jew came out, my rabbi ran out of his office and said to me, have you read this yet? I want to talk about it.

We have our own special book club of one-upping each other about who's read which book first.

He was quite disappointed when I had already read it, but we did have a great talk.

So Sarah is here.

She was a speechwriter for President Barack Obama and head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama.

Most recently, written two books exploring Judaism and Jewish identity and anti-Semitism.

So Sarah, we've read your books.

I assume I've heard many of the speeches you've written.

But before we get into all of that, please introduce yourself in the way you would like us to know you.
