What Do We Owe God? An early take on Rosh Hashanah

Okay.

So kind of a bummer announcement and then some happy announcements.

So the bummer announcement is that we are sold out for Rosh Hashanah evening service and dinner.

Now here's, here's the little caveat to that.

So basically our Rosh Hashanah service has two parts.

There's the upstairs where the actual service is, the actual like religious service.

And then downstairs we're going to do all the table blessings and we're going to have a meal.

Shout out to Austin who's helping with that.

Um, And and we'll eat and it'll be lovely and all that.

Now, the downstairs, you've been there before.

This is the common cafe, right? This is the town bank community kitchen at Commonwealth Autism.

It only fits so many human beings.

There are only so many seats.

So, you know, we did the best we could with thinking about rearranging stuff.

And we're going to bring in a six foot table and we're trying to do some stuff.

We are totally oversold.

Like, I'm hoping everyone has a seat.

I might have to give up my seat at the Rosh Hashanah dinner table so that someone else can sit down.

That's where we are at with stuff.

And we have people with mobility needs and things like that.

So we can only cram so many chairs in that place before the fire department would get mad at us.

So we don't do that.

However, if you're someone who just wants to pray, like maybe you got dinner plans later, something like that, you know, you're really not in it for the food.

You're just in it for the prayer.

We could have more people just upstairs.
