You know, it's funny, yesterday I had a trade expert on talking about the negotiations.
Barry Appleton was here, and he quite joyfully took the opportunity to correct me on the show yesterday 'cause I said, and this was 24 hours ago, um, "The deadline is tomorrow." He said, "No, no, no, no, I'm gonna correct you.
It's tonight." Okay, you know, it turns out we were both kinda right because it was actually technically at 12:01 this morning.
[laughs] So that's, that's Wednesday, but it is, to all intents and purposes, Tuesday night.
All right, so what happened? Well, late last night, as I'm sure you're aware, um, Trump said, "Okay, let's go another three days here because we're getting a deal together." Where are we and what can we expect? From the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, the VP of Legislative Affairs joins me.
