What would you say you've seen too much of? Is there anything that you're like, I can't look at another project with that element or whatever? I know there was

a moment in time like there was too much Palm Beach, like everybody had done Palm Beach and coming out of COVID.

So what is there too much of now?

Well, it's funny you say Palm Beach because we were definitely like, we've done too much Palm Beach.

And now, and so we sort of not turned our back on it.

We are part of Kips Bay, Palm Beach.

But now we're planning a January 2028 Palm Beach issue.

Like we're like, okay, it's time to revisit Palm Beach again.

It's been a couple of years.

Yeah, it's been a bit.

So, I mean, similarly, and this is, I think I can safely say this because you can see where I am sitting to record this.

Like, I had had it with, like, you know, floral wall covering or chinoiserie-inspired wall covering.

We just saw, like, way too much of that.

But, like, I mean, it's ridiculous to say that, Paloma.

I see where you're sitting as well.

You know, and so...

the minute I say like that's it I've had it too much of that like we'll see it in a new way or used in a different color or something like that and then we'll come back around to it so I don't know I hesitate to rule anything out

how do you go about formulating like What you are stewarding in as an editor and from the perspective of Veranda, I feel like from an editorial perspective, that would be one of the most daunting things about your job is setting trends.

And, you know, we can all I feel like designers are always like, I don't follow trends, I issue trends, whatever.

But we may not be beholden to them, but our clients are paying attention.

We need to be aware of what's happening out there.

But I feel like in your shoes, that would be a really challenging thing to be like, okay, this is what we're going to be pushing now or what we're seeing and we feel is going to have a broader moment.

How does that happen? Is it just very organic or more intentional?

It's, I would say it's more, it's maybe like 75% intentional, 25% organic.

We do, and it is, I mean, it's probably the lion's share of like what I do.
