I've been a caregiver myself like twice in my 30s and I noticed a significant impact on my health.

And I think a lot of people are living it today and realizing that, hey, why isn't there support for me? Can you imagine if something happened in your life? Let's say if something happened in your life that said, because of this thing in your health, you're now having a 500% increase in your likelihood of getting dementia.

You know, people would treat that as like a diagnosis that you have a condition and let us help you treat that condition, blood sugar or whatever, right? Let's put you on diabetes meds.

That was a Cache County study that came out, and it's been out for over a decade, that they studied spousal caregivers of dementia, and they correlated, adjusted for everything else, you know, age, race, income, health, whatever.

If your spouse had a dementia diagnosis, your own likelihood of getting it over the next five to 10 years literally went up hundreds of percent.

You know, your spouse getting dementia means you are a caregiver and that's a diagnosis.

I think people who are cancer caregivers, enormous effect on their own mental health, their physical health, their likelihood of ending up in the ER with a heart issue.
