Welcome back to the Formative Films Project, a podcast series exploring how the movies we watch shape us, entertain us, and help tell the stories of our lives.

You know, after a five-year hiatus, Formative Films Project is back for season two.

You know, five years ago in the summer of 2021, I put out a 20-part narrative series, if you will.

comprised of a hundred interviews with people that you know I knew pretty well and also some people that I met for the first time and just simply talking about the movies that changed them the movies that either they saw when they were a small child and have stuck with them ever since or maybe some more recent favorites but basically just talking about how these stories matter And it was one of the most fulfilling projects I've ever been a part of.

And season two, you know, instead of kind of breaking it up into the more narrative series style, season two is going to feature more in-depth conversations for each week's episode, kind of focusing on one film and guests per episode.

This series is part time capsule, part memory piece, part exploration of how these formative films have impacted each of us.

You know, it's going to be fun to reminisce with some old friends from season one, as well as inject some new blood into the show.

And I've already recorded a few episodes and it's been fun so far and I'm excited to keep it rolling.
