Tom StrachanHostRichHostYou're starting him.
You're very happy, even though we've had a couple of down weeks, he's still locked and loaded.
What is it about Gerard Goff this week that has got you super-duper excited?
Gerard Goff, if he was playing on a team with a good defence, then he would be garnering more MVP talk.
But if he was playing on a team with better defence, then he probably wouldn't be passing as much as he did and playing as well as he did.
Like, this is a matchup between the Lions and the Cardinals pitting the 31st and the 30th worst defenses in EPA allowed against the pass.
The Cardinals allow fifth most scheduled adjusted fantasy points to quarterbacks.
The Cardinals, though, they've allowed the second highest completion rate on play action at 77% completion rate.
The whole of this offense is clicking well, and I think that everything is going to work well.
The only tiny, like if you were to pick one hole in this matchup for the Lions, it's that the Cardinals have allowed the fewest running back fantasy points so far and actually grayed out pretty well against the run.
So if that means that the Lions are going to have to go even more pass heavy, just sign me up every day of the week.
yeah air jared flying into arizona to uh put up some big points i mean you just look at the numbers 1214 passing yards nine touchdowns yet to throw a pick like the raw numbers are bonkers it's a dream matchup i think yeah if you're you got jared goff you sat and waited on quarterback in a 1qb redraft league you're right you're sitting very pretty this week in tier two we've got Dak Prescott Matthew Stafford Joe Burrow and Jacoby Brissett I want to touch on Joe Burrow we we differ slightly here uh you seem quite excited about potentially what Joe Burrow could be um I'm a little bit apprehensive should we say I'll let you put the case of what it is about Joe Burrow that you like this week and then I'll uh I'll come and rain on your parade should we say
