Peltoncast No. 504

Well, we start this week on a somber note.

Our thoughts are with former UW and Rogers High School defensive tackle Dan Milston and his family, whom we had public last week.

Milston's diagnosis was stage four invasive colon adenocarcinoma and high-grade adenocarcinoma.

neuroendocrine carcinoma, the former highly aggressive form of cancer and the latter an extraordinarily rare one.

Milston played at UW from 2002 through 2005 and saw his career end following a broken left leg and dislocated ankle during his first season.

As a starter, a GoFundMe jointly organized with his family and former Husky teammate Jordan Reffett has raised more than $85,000 so far.

So we'll have a link to that in the post notes and obviously hoping for the best for Dan Milson and his family.

On a happier note, congrats to UW men's basketball's Hannes Steinbach, who became the third Husky men's basketball player to record a 2020 game last week.

And a game you obviously were following closely.

A win over USC.

Can you name the two other Huskies with a 2020 game? That is correct.

Two others.

Do you specifically remember

this? No.

Luca told me he had no idea who Noah Dickerson was.

And I said, learn basketball.

Wow.

Wow.

I

was like, you don't remember Noah Dickerson from

before you were born? Is this because they don't have like...

But he would know college football players.

from before he was born i

think it might be the whole university of washington men's basketball program but i was gonna say it might be the problem

i was gonna say the lack of a college basketball men's college basketball video game that is compelling
