Now, uh, I've spent, as many of you know, the last three and a half years writing a, a book called Emotionally Healthy Success.

And actually, I was thinking about this issue of success for the years prior to that before I actually started writing.

So as a result, I spent years in the Gospels, and in particular, in the Gospel of Luke, looking at Jesus and his life and his understanding of success, how he measured it.

Uh, and so core to that is he, he invites us into four, what I call four great reversals of how we define what success actually is.

Uh, and it's very challenging for us to receive these four reversals, uh, in the Western Church in the 21st century.

It's just so counterintuitive to how we operate today, and it's very challenging.

So, uh, uh, actually, in the book, it's actually, uh, there are small sections of a chapter.

It's one chapter, but, uh, there was so much I could have said about each one of these reversals.

It's so much material that each could have been its own book, let alone its own chapter.

But because I had a larger goal in mind, uh, as you'll see when you look at that book, um, it had to be condensed into a chapter.

So I wanna take this week, as well as the following three podcast, to talk, uh, a bit more in depth and broadly about each of these four reversals because they are so significant for us.
