Well, I mean, the thing is, is that we've spent a lot of time talking about, like, what rule set are we going to use, what terrain we're going to use, what size board we're going to use.

We decided that we would go with the Titan Legion's rule set the, the full, the full as up to date with second edition as we can possibly, we can possibly go with.

And, um, And really stick to those rules because having played so many games that we've done over the last, like, it's been a year.
a year.
We've played

that if there's one thing I know about these rules is that they really are fit for purpose, as sometimes as simple, because there's different levels of complexity.

unlike some editions where you know you would have boogies and that would cover bowel burners and and all of them whereas in in this edition there's there's a there's a rule for there's there's there's not a rule there's a there's a stat line for every vehicle Whereas the actual rules themselves are relatively simple, you know, with the way you put your order counters down and then you follow what those order counters allow.

And we can tell, having played, you know, having played these rules for such a long time, that these, unlike it feels like a lot of rule sets that you play, that these rules were properly game tested and play tested before the game came out, and in fact were have been kind of not so much revised as had refinements put on them to make them even clearer.
Yeah, that's Titan Legions you're probably referring to there.
Yes.
Where it's just a slight evolution of space, where it's not a new addition, it's just a few tweaks, and you've got the FAQs in White Dwarf just to clarify a couple of things, and that's all you need, really, and the core rules are five pages long, and even though it's great even though playing with you ad was the was my first experience of actually playing space marine i felt like i knew how to play the game from reading battle reports 30 years ago so i i just it felt intuitive anyway just from reading the reading the battle report you know i felt a connection to the game back then just reading that and just seeing the models having never painted any, having never actually played, apart from maybe a game in the store, you know.
But I think it's an easy game for a person that's new to wargaming to pick up, which is a little bit exciting for me because, you know, At this tournament we're having, we've got two father and son teams turning up.
There's two guys bringing their kids.
and playing with them.
And I just think, well, you know, people say it's a dead game.
It's not.
It's a complete game, and it's probably got a future, maybe.
You know, it's crazy to say.
