But here it seems that they are a more recent, how do you call it, mutation of regular Dwarves.

Not something that happened... far away but maybe well maybe this happened far away but yeah it would be interesting to see how they tackle this and how it develops so I guess we'll have to wait for the Warhammer armies book I think there's a little bit more on Chaos Dwarfs in there maybe even in one of the White Dwarfs we're going to cover in the meantime and then in fourth edition we will dive into the Chaos Dwarfs as well of course Dwarves within the Old World These days, the majority of dwarves live in human communities.

They are metalworking, trading and manufacturing skills, earning them a place as prosperous and respected citizens.

All large towns and cities have a population of dwarves, often as many as 10% of the total population.

And those are all the races that are in the old world.

The races that are not in the old world are not mentioned in this section, but I think that is enough for now.

We've spent three episodes on this one section of the the lore in the third edition rulebook I'm going to leave it at this and continue with the regular podcasts where we have the regular white dwarfs going through each White Dwarf at a time, picking out the Warhammer Fantasy-related articles.

Yeah, I guess on a similar Christmassy theme, all the white dwarf models, there's been several Christmassy themed ones, and these are all of the Grand Brindal models.

There's actually been several white dwarf specific models over the years, but this particular white dwarf has been around a few times.

Eric is saving a certain white dwarf model for last because it was the most interesting thing.

There's a couple.

There honestly are some really interesting white dwarf models, but there is one that I am keeping saved.

I do find it funny that for the like 2009 release of Grombrindle, there is the now I said it weird, too.

Yeah, you did.

And so that was the first time I saw his name along with a lot of other names.

Yeah, there's even a Call of Cthulhu scenario based on one of his stories that was published in White Dwarf back in the early 80s, which is based on the story of the Horse of the Invisible, which is one of the Karnacki the Ghostfinder stories.

I was going to say the hard to spot equine.

I love Karnacki.

And I worked on many 40K video games.

I was part of the US White Dwarf team for a couple of years.

And I basically created most of the lore for things like Rogue Traders and the Death Watch and Inquisition.
