Sadhbh McLoughlinHostLike I mentioned last week, I wanted to talk about, I know it's summertime, but I want to talk about why some people like horror movies.
And I do get a bit of a rush in like, oh my god, I want to hear what happens in this movie.
But then I have friends in my life who like, they are horror movie hardcore, you know? And they will feel quite calm and then just like go to sleep and not really think about it again.
I had a French teacher who, when I was, I think, 13, she was a big horror movie fanatic.
it the clown and whenever we would watch these movies in school obviously you can't watch you you're like you know we'd have french class on a tuesday and then we'd watch the first 45 minutes and then have to continue the rest but it like would stop in the middle of the film So then you have to go home and you're like, oh my God, I don't know what happens.
And then it's really scary because you've just stopped in the middle of the movie and then you have to wait like two days.
And I remember like going to the toilet after that class and being so freaked out.
Remember the bit in the movie, if you've seen it? Ah! sorry thinking about it now it's making i can see it so clearly in my head his little face his stupid little face in the drains the little boy george is in his yellow cute yellow raincoat oh i actually have shivers on this one cute yellow raincoat and there's like water flowing down the drains this lashing rain and he has a little paper boat i think and then in the drains oh is the clown and he's so scary and he's like hello george or something oh my lord that scared the heck out of me and i remember then walking my dog and it was raining and i got so freaked out like anytime i was near a drain pipe i mean a drain a gutters whatever it was okay and then that same teacher also showed us the shining and i had nightmares Like, what? She was a cool teacher, but, like, what? That was so scary for me.
Now, I can't remember if that is a scary movie, but I just remember being scared.
