Acts chapter 6 starts out with a problem.

And don't be afraid of problems.

Problems are part of following Jesus.

Problems are part of life.

You're going to face them.

It's normal.

It's par for the course.

But how do you become part of the solution? See, when you look around the world today, some problems that stand out.

There's kids that don't have clean water or food.

There's many people who don't have the Bible in their language.

There's 3 billion people that are unreached and about 6,000 people groups that are unreached.

They haven't heard the gospel.

Most of them, they live in the 1040 window.

That's 10 to 40 degrees latitude.

That includes Africa, North Africa.

That includes the Middle East.

That includes Asia.

And when you look at that zone right there, there's 80% of the poorest of the poor live in that region in the world.

And also, in terms of persecution, 45 out of the 50 countries that are most persecuted for Christians, 45 of those 50 nations are in the 1040 window.

There's a problem, there's a need, and the need is often linked to the call.

So notice the problems around you.

And when I say problems, there's again a conviction to be part of the solution.

So the problem in Acts chapter 6 is that there's widows who are overlooked.

There's two groups, two ethnicities, and in those days when the number of disciples was increasing, when God is moving, that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing.

No, that means that we've got to seek God and ask, how do we overcome this challenge?
