Operation World

So my mind's wandered to not having tied it up.

I catch myself, and I get out my prayer guides, Operation World, or my friend's missionary prayer letter, and I'll pray, Lord, for the sants that you'd enable Dom to lead the team well, and I'm on his prayer letter, on his third bullet point.

And actually...

It's possible I'm using that as a way to distract myself from the idolatry of my heart that is so concerned with tidiness or romance or whatever it may be.

That's consistent.

Throughout the Bible, throughout the book of Acts, there's not an easy chapter.

The Gospels, there's not an easy chapter in Jesus' life.

So just don't expect to be free or immune from trials.

He wasn't born again.

He was trying to learn more.

On his way home, he was sitting on his chariot, reading the book of Isaiah the prophet, and the Spirit told Philip, go to that chariot and stay near it.

See, God says to you, go to where people are.

Jesus said, make disciples of all nations.

There's a wonderful book called Operation World.

And if you buy the book, you'll find information about every country and you can pray for a nation a day.
