Voting is Officially Under Way

Well, there's a new poll out in the race for governor.

I know.

This one done by SurveyUSA on behalf of – for KOB TV.

And it's interesting because the margin for Deb Haaland, six points.

That's the same as the journal poll last week.

And there are some differences between the SurveyUSA and Brian Sanderoff in research and polling.

And I know the journal is going to have at least one more round of polling out, including the congressional races before Election Day.

in early November, so it'll probably come later this month.

But the bottom line is, if you're Greg Hall, you still have to be feeling hopeful that you're within striking distance in both of the major public polls that we've seen so far.

And the undecided at 12% is, you know, I don't think they're all going to break towards her.

So this race could be even closer than the six points right now.

And then...

And also on that poll, her unfavorables are just— She's underwater.

Really surprising by that, just because we just have so many more Democrats in the state.

And that just shows—I mean, her strategy is probably not resonating very well with her base— Her lack of debate, maybe that's part of it.

Maybe they also, you know, everyone's seen the video of her and her meltdown with Senator Heinrich.

I don't know what's going on in that base and their thinking, but she should be, given the factors that's going on nationally and here in our state where we're a deep blue state, she should be way up ahead by now.

And especially with the money she has.

And that last poll, the journal poll that had six points also, then she comes out with a major TV buy, right? It didn't move the needle at all, Bob.

It did not move the needle at all.

So if I was her campaign people, I would be concerned right now.

And I would rethink...

Well, she should rethink her debate strategy.

I think for sure that she never was going to debate.
