So first things first, finally, finally, finally, we've been talking about it for so long, the Steelers have finally signed Aaron Rodgers to a contract.

The deal includes $22 million guaranteed for the season, but is worth up to $25 million.

There is Aaron Rodgers signing up to, or showing up to the first day of OTAs.

... were you surprised by Rodgers' contract, and do you think he will find success with Mike McCarthy?
And I, I've been saying it, and I'll stay on record, he's been washed for the last three full seasons that he's played quarterback, and that includes the last season at Green Bay in which his QBR ranked 25th in the NFL.
And then that one year with the Jets, he ranked 24th in QBR in the NFL, and last year he ranked 23rd in the league in QBR.
So all I know is that the Steelers by paying him 25 million are just trying to send a message of, "Oh, he'll be worth 25 million," and, and he won't be.
And it's just sad to me that a cornerstone NFL franchise, the Pittsburgh Steelers, have had to fall back into the Aaron Rodgers trap for a second straight year.
Obviously the last time they, they did back into the playoffs, and they got a home playoff game, unfortunately for Aaron, against the Houston Texans, and the final score was 30 to six, and his QBR was 15 in that game because he was pathetic.
And I just read a great breakdown on ESPN.com of his year last year, and the conclusion is at the core, the Steelers passing game was poor because the quarterback play was poor.
And they point out that because he can't and won't take a hit anymore, where have you heard that first? I said it all last year.
That he now, l- last year he got rid of the ball faster than any quarterback in the league at 2.7 seconds, and because he really can't move anymore, said ESPN, the offense, the pass game degenerates into quick dump-offs or desperation heaves to his one-on-one targets on third and long.
Th- that's who he is, that's who he's been for the last three full years that he started.
And with Mike McCarthy, I, I, I remind you, Mike hasn't coached him since 2018, and that was the year they start off 4-7-1 in Green Bay.
