Ep. 124 - Greg Thoman: Connecting Buyers and Sellers with AquaFindr

How did that start, right? So you're producing antlers.

Did you know you were going to have just a prolific amount of babies? Or it was just, hey, let me try these guys out.

OK, so then you have all these babies.

What was the next step of like, oh, now I can start offloading these to stores and clubs? Did somebody approach you and let you know that? Because I feel like that's a part of the hotbed.

Too many people really realize that, oh, I can get store credit for these things? Oh, OK.

Yeah.

Yeah, I didn't know that.

And I didn't find that out until after I went, after I found the club.

Because I got all this started and I was just by myself.

And then I didn't go to a club meeting until like five or six months after I had started and knew about the club.

And so could have done that sooner.

What I ended up doing before was set up another tank that was...

I think I had just like... an angelfish in it that I named the Reaper.

And that's where like my extra like spring went to.

That's amazing.

So and I've kind of kept that true because like right now I've got three humpback dragon puffers where I overfeed everything.

So I've got tons of tons of snails and I just scoop them out, put them in the puffer tank and they're gone.

Are the are those

guys fairly active or are they ambush predators?

They're ambushed.

They're just

like hanging out.

They're just little potatoes hanging out on the substrate.

They'll see like when I come in, they're like, oh, is he going to drop anything in this tank? Because if I drop in like a like a goldfish, like a feeder fish or something like that, they're on it immediately.

They're not waiting and they'll chase stuff around the tank.
