so what does tie into physical fitness physical fitness um yes iron sharpens iron here

Can you be holy and then just let your body go and eat whatever you want? Because now you're getting into being a glutton, which would be a sin as well.

So one of the times this comes up, in fact, the only time in my mind I could think of this, as far as I know, the only time this comes up in the New Testament is 1 Timothy 4.

And so starting about verse 6, I'll just give the context, and then we'll be looking for verse 8, but...

And Timothy is, from what we see in the New Testament, we could say his finest disciple.

If anyone's listening, they go, who is Paul and who's Timothy? So he's writing a letter to Timothy, and this is one of the things he says.

Verse 6, if you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, being trained in the words of faith and of good doctrine that you have followed.

For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

So there you get a direct connection between Paul's like, yeah, it actually has some

But don't you think the point of that is not to highlight how good it is to work out? No, you're right.
