September score release day is stressful, so we went live to answer your questions in real time. Alex, Bailey, Ethan, and Shamala work through pre-recorded questions and chat questions from students…
No, no,
no. Yeah.
So this was a question I actually fielded out there independently today.
And I wanted to just talk about it before we go to the next video, because I think it's a question a lot of people are answering or asking.
Should I retake a high score? The answer is often no.
If you're already at a school's median or already one point above their median, you really shouldn't retake it.
Yeah.
What's the top median? Is it like 174 or something? I thought it
was 175.
Somebody should look.
175.
But I just don't know much about them.
And it sounds...
But, but basically my point is that there's no school where you're not above median.
And once you're above median, you know, especially at that level, just, Doesn't matter.
Remember, it's a median.
So being above it or below it doesn't matter how much does the same thing.
Right.
And like a 176 is a 177.
It's a 178.
It's a 179.
No, no,
no. Yeah.
