Oh, yeah, that's such a good question.

So I went to university, I went to McGill, and I did a degree in sociology, which was fantastic, but didn't really end with a job in mind.

And so I actually went and I worked in a I won't go too into detail, but yeah, I worked in a men's suit business after I finished university because I really didn't know what I wanted to do.

So I was working in like sales rep work.

But I, you know, studied for my LSAT, ended up getting into law school and I went to law school and I actually felt super out of place because When I got there, I really felt like, oh, no, this is not for me.

I loved university.

I loved McGill.

I loved being in Montreal.

Simon Blanchette is a McGill lecturer who specializes in artificial intelligence and the future of work, and he's on the line.

Michael Gemtroud is the chair in Architecture, Energy, and Environment at McGill University in Montreal.

And, uh, Ilka, you caught up with him recently for a great conversation with all the great work he's doing there, so let's jump into it.

I have Michael Gemtroud with me today, and I'm super excited about it, and we're gonna be talking a lot about educating, educating students towards pre-fabrication, what they need to know, what's different about an approach that an architecture student has to take when they think about pre-fabrication.

And yeah, we're gonna talk about how you even got to be interested in prefab, and s- so much so that you want to, or that you are incorporating it into the curriculum at McGill University.

So in 1883, Naismith attends McGill and he was a star athlete there.

He played football, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, and gymnastics.

I also thought like gymnastics played a role in a lot of this and like calisthenics because the options, the indoor sport options at the time were like doing cartwheels indoors and like lifting weights and stuff.

Right.

And I love that.

So then the big thing that happens in the Naismith arc is that he leaves McGill after having been their director of athletics, their first director of athletics.

And he goes to study at the YMCA International Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts.

right, let's move to the ARSEC here.

Laval Rouger against the McGill Redbirds and Connor.

Really interesting one here because Laval's leading receiver on the day was none other than Nathan Kerrigan.

Or Kerrigan, I guess his name would be in French.

For those that don't know the name, he was the leading receiver for the U-20 men's tackle team that won the world championships.

He then committed to the McGill Redbirds and then flipped his commit to Glenn Constantine and the Laval Rouge Orr.

He is now one of their leading receivers, and in a spot where the team he kind of burned once, he burns again.

Laval balanced attack this year, I think, is the name of the game.

Th- this is like a, it's a struggle session of, of virtue signaling is what it is.

Oh, and Iqra Khalid, it was reported that she was head of the MSA, Muslim Student Association, at the university, was it McGill.

And, uh, she had written a constitution for the Muslim Student Association.

There is, uh, Muslim Student Association is the, in the explanatory memorandum that the, uh, sorry, the um, sorry, the um, uh, big terrorism case down in the United States, the name all of a sudden escaped me, and it listed the MSA connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
