Building a Business With God: Alexander VandeLaar on Faith, Success & Purpose

Business is your thing.

And you've created something called Build With God.

Mm-hmm.

So when did you know that God had to be part of what you were creating?

So it started just with the body and with the health.

And then it was a pretty quick revelation of like, oh, this is the marriage, the business.

And it felt really exciting to me because it didn't take me.

It didn't take Alexander out of the story.

I really felt God inviting me to collaborate.

I can't remember the exact scripture.

John something where there's a bold statement that says God is love.

And right.

And so God is love and he's made us in love.

And yet I do also believe that for love to exist, there must be freedom.

And so I believe that we've been gifted freedom in this experience, which is, which is beautiful.

It's amazing.

And like, God can be telling you something and you could, we've seen people not do that thing and do something completely different and whether you want to call that free will or otherwise.

And so there's this beautiful choice that I feel in my own life where I get to actually choose to do it with him.

And there are gifts that he's given me.

There's experiences that he's given me that I get to, to come and bring to the, to the experience.

And I love this idea that, that, you know, we're all kind of, you know, the kingdom is here and now, but we're all kind of building the ultimate expression of that together and, And we all get to bring bricks, right? There's certain bricks that you have, certain ones that I have that are part of this bigger structure.

And they're unique.

And they're from our own story.

They're from our own giftings.

That's been super helpful to me.
