Where the Springs Return| Episode 137

So today we're gonna be talking about The People of the Springs world quest.

Now, for travelers who may not remember, when we got to Natlan, they got rid of story quests for the five-star characters.

This doesn't necessarily proceed and, like, continue in the other nations, but in Natlan, every tribe gets a world quest where they kind of tie in the story of the tribe itself with the main five-star character from that tribe as well.

So instead of having a Mualani story quest, we get the Mualani and People of the Springs world quest combo.

It's like, you know, a, a meal at McDonald's.

[laughs] The Tribal Chronicles.

Just makes it sound, like, so much more historical and important.

And, and like we said, we said, this doesn't necessarily continue on into Nod-Krai.

With Nod-Krai characters it does, yes, and what I mean by that is people specifically from Nod-Krai.

So we see that with Laoma and with Flynn's, just as two examples, and Nefer.

But we don't see that with other characters that were released with Nod-Krai who aren't from Nod-Krai.

So, like, Varka and Lohen both had story quests still, and Durin.

I think Durin did, too.

So I don't know.

Yeah.

I don't know what the reas- rhyme and reasoning is.

They probably can't really backtrack into some of these other nations and do that.

But that's just what we're going into here, and we're gonna be talking about the People of the Springs, which is one of the original three tribes that were released with Natlan.

That's right, released in version 5.0.

And as a reminder, the other ones we got at that time were the Children of the Echoes, which is where we get Xilonen and Kachina, and the Scions of the Canopy, which is Kinich and Mavuika.

Yeah.

We also have our three other ones that came later, which just as a reminder, I know we recapped all of this in the Ifa episode a few back as well, but the Flower Feather Clan is Ifa and Chasca.

Masters of the Night Wind is Citlali and Ororon.

And Collective of the Plenty, or Collective of Plenty, I always wanna add the the in there.
