Buffy the Vampire Slayer

It's called, or when it started, it's called Slay Replay.

I'm going to be recapping Buffy the Vampire Slayer from the beginning, but it's not just going to be Buffy.

Slay can mean a lot of things.

It can be like gay stuff, campy stuff.

As huge ones.

We also had like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Hocus Pocus.

There was a load going on here in that slightly witchy genre.

She was, you know, she was the reason we all know about the AIDS quilt is because she went ahead and funded the documentary on it that put it into the the mainstream.

You know, she got behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

And she never put her name on a bunch of these productions that she got behind because she didn't want to take the focus away.

So she would do her the name of her company that was a collaboration with her best friend, Sandy, which was Sand Dollar.

And so if you ever watch Puppy the Vampire Slayer and see produced by Sand Dollar, that's Dolly Parton because Dolly Parton got behind a show because she believed that teenage girls deserve to have heroes, too.

This is who she was.

She did not need to be celebrated.

Flat out.

So, by the way, one thing I think is a little odd I got to bring up as well here is, you ever notice that Dylan Gabriel looks like one of those vampires from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer show?

No. No. He's got a

weird thick eyebrow.

It looks just like one of the vampires from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I looked him up real quick to see the stats, and I got the picture that popped up.

I'm like, oh my god, he looks just like one of those vampires.

I got it.

Like that is like hard where I fall on where my interest is most peaked in this show.

I like I think it's just remember when you made me watch Angel and Buffy in the order that they aired.

Well, I think I made you watch them in the order

that allowed for the most continuity.

Yes, you're right.

And I, like, couldn't follow...

It did a really big disservice to Angel because I was already very invested in Buffy and I was like, I have to get through Angel to get back to Buffy.

And I feel like, you know, the spacing out of the myth arc episodes is just making it all really muddy for me.

Yeah, I mean, plot is, it's very, very plotty.

There's lots of exposition in it, which is why I kind of equated it to something like Charmed, which you go back and watch those shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Charmed.

It's just plot, plot, plot, plot, plot.

And this is a film that is very much the same vibe.

Just recently...
