Lea ThauHostWell, I remember where we were, which meant that it must have been the first half of the year of 2016, so.
Yeah

Sorry, that's what I meant, 'cause you were practically, like, packing up your house.

And we were here for a weird transition, both in our lives, because we came with children, and then our daughters are three women now, right? So that was that.

But also, we came when it was, uh, the end of a time of whimsy, of people on penny farthing bicycles with comical mustaches, and juggling, and all that, the Portlandia era.

And then there was, Trump was elected the first time, and there was a sudden shift to running street battles with anarchists, and nightly, um, war zones downtown, and then COVID, and then an economic collapse, and then the legalization of all drugs, or decriminalization and legalization, and the fentanyl, and homelessness.

[laughs] So it's kind of like we c- like our best years here were immediately after moving here, and then it's kind of like declined since we've been here.
