Um, but tell us a little bit of more about, uh, how would someone get into a safety career? How...
You know, you got into a safety career a little bit different than, than a lot of people.
but, uh, you know, working with the Utah Safety Council or National Safety Council or Weber State or, how do you just, how do you decide you're gonna, uh, fur- advance your career? What are some of the steps you would recommend?
So like I said, there's two- ... kind of paths that I see, and maybe Doug you've seen this as well, and John.
He's like, "My sister came up to me, saw the Instagram post and said, 'This is for you.'" And he, and he saw it, and he's like, "I work at..." I can't remember where he worked, but, "I- I'm, I'm always worried about safety, you know? And so I saw this.
And so he's, he's on his way and, and he'll get all the opportunities to get all the experience and knowledge with, with our program.
And then, um, a big thing is becoming a student, uh, you know, uh, is, is get into the associations.
You know, Utah Safety Council, National Safety Council, ASSP, all those, you know, so you can go to the conferences like Utah Safety Council or the National Safety Council.
Like we'll, we'll take some students, and then they can network, things like that.
Maybe they have a bachelor's in something, but they're not seeing the growth, right? It's that career s- next career step is a lot of, um, companies require a bachelor's, you know? And so, uh, instead of go get like a Bachelor of General Studies, get it in what you do.
